Director & Producer – Alison Roberts
Musical Director – John Wood
Stage Manager – Chris Bayliss
What’s the buzz?
The first musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to be produced for the professional stage, Jesus Christ Superstar has wowed audiences for over 40 years.
A timeless work, the rock opera is based on the last week of Jesus’ life. Set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events, the story is told through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. A true global phenomenon, the iconic 1970s rock score contains such well-known numbers as “Superstar,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and “Gethsemane.”
So the scenery and costumes are booked and the musicians are in place but as with all productions that EODS put on, we require an army of people to help behind the scenes (members, family and friends).
We are looking for people interested helping with:
4) Front of House
We are also looking for an Assistant Stage Manager whose responsibility will be to cue the show (lighting, sound and MD) – the ability to be able to read a score would be preferred!
If you are interested in any of the above roles please contact Alison Roberts on firstname.lastname@example.org
This is a fantastic opportunity for EODS to recruit new members, especially men!!
So, please get the word out and encourage prospective members to contact Alison, again on the above email address.
This is not just a show for the men and Mary! There will be lots to do as singers and dancers – Followers, Lepers, Paparazzi, Temple Profiteers, Witnesses, Herod’s Dancers, Angel Dancers, Soul Sisters, Roman Guards and not to forget The Mob! It will be another of those shows where the Ensemble has the most costume changes!
