Evesham Operatic and Dramatic Society

Welcome to the website of EODS, one of the oldest Amateur Dramatic societies in the country.

We are a thriving, fun society with members ranging from 16 to 80 years old, and are always keen to welcome new members to be involved in all aspects of production.

With our roots going back to 1881, and with over 120 members and patrons, we have been putting on regular shows for well over a century. As well as performing and directing, our members get involved in all aspects of what is needed to put on a successful show.

We look to perform exciting new material as well as some of the well loved favourite shows, and we also look to put on productions written by members.

Our 2011 September show - Ultimate 80's - was recently voted Best Musical by NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) - and we are partying to celebrate at our Rehearsal Hut on 26th May. (See our News page).

And we have been asked to take part in the Olympic Torch relay on 1st July - more details on our News page.

We have now started work on our next two productions: a one-night only Summer Gala on 14th of July with a mix of songs, dances and comedy....

.....and the play "Stepping Out" in September 2012 - following the lives and troubles of a tap-dance class as they preare for a big show.
